Fitness Program

Start the year out right by working on your New Year’s resolution of getting fit and losing weight! Beginning this month, Buncombe Street will have a new fitness room and two new fitness trainers. The fitness room is located right outside the entrance to Drake Hall. The room includes exercise and workout equipment as well as space for several classes that will be offered. The use of this room will be offered to all members 18 years of age and older after they sign a liability waiver. For those under 18 years of age, the fitness room will be available for use when accompanied by an adult.

Ken Stribling and Aimee Aird Powell will work together as well as separately offering: 1 on 1 training, group classes, fitness camps, boot camps, kickboxing, kid’s camps, and senior classes. They will focus on increasing endurance, flexibility, balance, strength, and cardio, along with nutritional improvement.
